The Green & Clean streak continues! Our 11th annual Shredding (and More) Event was the best yet. It seems like with every year, things get smoother and better! This time around, we were serving a car practically every minute – talk about impressive teamwork!
Two shredding trucks, double the drive-through lanes, drop-offs for E-Waste with the Junk Luggers, along with donations for the Assistance League and the Community Food Pantry – we created a one-stop-shop for decluttering responsibly while giving back to the community we truly love.
Giving Back Never Felt So Good
The numbers speak for themselves:
- 6+ tons of shredded paper saved trees and stayed out of landfills!
- 1000+ pounds of E-Waste gets recycled instead of polluting our environment.
- $500+ cash and overflowing shelves of food donations to the Community Food Pantry.
- Truckloads of household goods and clothing giving a new life to the Assistance League‘s mission.
The Secret Ingredient: YOU!
Of course, this event wouldn’t be the same without our amazing community. It was heartwarming to see so many familiar and new faces drop in to shred their documents and do some extra good while they were at it. What makes our event a little different from other shredding events is the chance to say hello! The way folks choose to stay, chat, and connect is what turns it into a true community gathering.
