What a wonderful year it’s been: seeing people interact in person with one another and actually seeing the smiles and emotions on people’s faces has been one of the things I’ve been most grateful for. The human connection to me is one of the best things about being alive.
For the rest of my life, I will never take for granted the privileges we have here in the U.S. We are blessed to have the freedom to freely move about, interact with who we choose to, and work at jobs we love because we’ve chosen them. I’m grateful for the diversity, thoughts, and minds of all my neighbors and friends. Lively conversation and debate are also one of my favorite things in life.
Sure, the real estate market is at a bit of an ebb right now; but one thing I know for almost certain is that 7 years from now, homes will be worth more than they are today. I’m grateful that the American dream of homeownership is alive and well with home equity being at the highest level in history, despite the recent blip. I’m grateful interest rates aren’t 18% as they were when I bought my first condo!
I’m grateful for our 100’s of wonderful past clients, and for the support and friendship they have given our real estate team over the last 33 years. It’s been a dream come true to help these people with their life’s journeys. When we host events and get to visit with these amazing people, it’s one of the most gratifying things in the world!
Being surrounded by loving family, caring friends, and devoted colleagues is the best of all. Moving into 2023, I only hope I can be there for all these people as they have been there for me through thick and thin, & the good, and not-so-good (including my Gemini-ish mood swings)!
You’ve heard me say it before, and I do believe life can be a rocky road but if we truly believe, the best is yet to come!
