Surf City Winter Wonderland

Huntington Beach’s Pier Plaza will be home to Surf City Winter Wonderland,
where residents and visitors can “skate” next to our City beach like never
before!

Surf City Splash

Jan. 1-2 / 9am-12pm
“Make a Splash and Pick Up Trash!” Get rid of the Old and bring in the
New as we celebrate the 22nd Birthday of the Surf City Splash by having a
two-day Vendor Market at the World Famous Huntington Beach Pier Plaza.
Approximately Twenty-Eight vendors will be on-hand selling their goods.
The Surfrider Foundation of Huntington/Seal Beach hosts this year’s
festivities and they will be the beneficiary of this year’s proceeds.

Discovery Day at the Farm

Jan. 13
Discovery Days at Centennial Farm are open to the public and are perfect
for mom groups, homeschool groups, and more. Groups may participate
in the following activities: Self-Guided Tours: Volunteers are present to
provide information. Radish Seed Planting: Children will plant a radish seed
to take back to school. Chick Education: Learn about the chick development
process. Oxen Demonstration: Demonstration days vary depending on the
volunteers’ schedules. Crops Education: Seasonal varieties. See Livestock

Sponge on the Run Family Movie Night

Jan. 21 / 6-8pm
We will be screening The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run (PG) at
6:30pm in the Crown Ballroom. If nautical nonsense is something you wish,

Free Bulky Item Drop-Off

Jan. 22 / 9-11am
The City of Garden Grove, in partnership with Republic Services, will host
a series of community cleanup days throughout the city in an effort to help
residents properly dispose of bulky items for free. Residents may dispose
of unwanted household items, including bulky items and electronic
waste, such as appliances, furniture, mattresses, televisions, printers, and
computers.

Heritage House Open House

History lovers of all ages are welcome to visit Mission Viejo’s Heritage
House, established in 2003 to educate the public about Mission Viejo
history. Formerly a Mission Viejo Company new home sales center, it was
the place prospective buyers came to find their dream home. Today, the
Heritage House is where visitors come to learn about the people and
events that made Mission Viejo “The California Promise.”

SoCal World Guitar Show

International buy-sell-trade event for guitars, amplifiers, and other musical

Snowfest

Jan. 29 / 11am-3:45pm
Grab the kids, the camera, and your friends, and come play in the snow
at this special event. Sleds and saucers will be available for you and your
family to slide down Mount Pittsford. There will also be a free snow play
area for kids 10 and under open during the entire event. Food and drinks
are also available for a nominal fee.

Dana Point Blood Drive
